Easi Proactively Solves IT Security Issue

Over the years, our government client had experienced an enormous amount of downtime and loss of productivity due to the spread of viruses and internet worms. Before Easi's involvement, the normal solution consisted of notifying the user community of the outbreak and steps needed to eliminate the infection and prevent it from spreading further. Recognizing an opportunity for process improvement, Easi worked closely with the customer community to develop a proactive solution that instituted an effective barrier against these threats and ultimately reduced the frequency and severity of these outbreaks. Our solution was multi-faceted and included:

  • Installing virus filtering software on the e-mail servers
  • Implementing a centralized Anti-virus Signatures management tool
  • Deploying an operating system patch management solution
Easi's comprehensive solution not only prevents the spread of viruses and worms, but allows Easi to quickly update systems remotely in an emergency, thereby eliminating the occurrence of large scale attacks. Our solution has greatly increased IT resource uptime and customer satisfaction.
